Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures ”

Please Help Olivia!

Olivia's leg broke as a baby and healed incorrectly. As she is growing into a large dog, she is going to need an operation to repair the leg. Without it, her lifespan will be decreased, not to mention her quality of life. This little girl has been through so much already and is the sweetest dog!

Olivia is loving life in her foster home and loves her foster brother and sister dogs. She is a great little puppy, very sweet, gentle and submissive. She is not a barker and is a very polite eater.

These pit puppies were brought into a kill shelter (pound) when they were 3 weeks old. The pound staff turned them away and told the lady that they needed to be w/their mother at least another 2 weeks. Two weeks to the day she brought them back. Shaky, skin and bones...these little pit mix pups had zero chance of survival. We pulled them to foster on the slimmest of chances the very next day. Within the next day or so, they came down with kennel cough and parvo. In quarantine, the foster worked with them, and everything they could to help these little ones pull through. Olivia would wobble so in an emergency vet visit, they confirmed that she had had a broken leg, and now on top of all this had developed pneumonia. Countless sleepless nights, small progresses and setbacks - like Olivia's pneumonia - would be the norm for about a week.

Fast forward two weeks...and the pups have all pulled through that horrid period in their short lives. They're still skinnier than they should be, but they are playful, and gaining weight every day. The foster is a dedicated puppy trooper.

This is Olivia aka Little Livvy. She is aaprox 9 weeks old. Weighs 5-7 lbs and has had parvo with kennel cough on 5/28-6/1. On 6/8 we discovered she had phneumonia and a broken leg.(her back left leg). She has been such a fighter and is pulling through fine. She was wormed on 5/17-18-19-20-21 with Panacur. She was innoculated on 6-14. She is a still a little malnurished but is continually putting on weight.
